Component: iFrame

The iFrame component displays a web page specified by a URL.

The iFrame component can be used to display and interact with any web page inside this application.

The Uniform Resource Locator (URL) is used to specify the address of this web page.

For example, this is a series of dashboards created by Microsoft Power BI and published for integration with line of business apps:

iFrame components should be dragged from the form designer toolbox into any form.

Click on the iFrame component to open up the component properties modal popup dialogue.

The form has 3 tabs, and an Apply button to save the changes and close the form, and a Cancel button to close the form without saving. Note that saving a component must be followed by saving the form design in order to persist the settings.

The Details and Styles tabs are discussed in the Components section. The iFrame tab is specific to this component.

iFrame

This tab allows editing of the URL.

The example shows a URL to a Microsoft Power BI dashboard.

Apply

Clicking this button will apply the iFrame URL to the form, however you must save the form in the designer in order to persist any changes. The form will close.
